Ingredients
- 1.5 Pounds of Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Medium Onion, Chopped
- 1/4 Cup Sweet Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 1 Box Au Gratin Potatoes, Value Size 7.7 Oz.
- 1 can Dark Red Kidney Beans, Drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes, 16 oz.
- 2 teaspoons Chili Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 2 Cups of Hot Water

Preparation
Step 1
Heat olive oil on High Stovetop setting. Add ground beef, onion & sweet peppers and cook until the meat has browned. Mix the cheese seasoning packet from the boxed potatoes with the two cups of hot water and then add it to the ground beef mixture. Then stir in the potatoes from the box and all other ingredient Change to the Slow Cooker Low setting and simmer for up to 4 hours or until the potatoes are tender the sauce has thickened.
