Ingredients
- 3 lb pot roast
- 3/4 c water
- 1/2 c red wine
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves garlic
- 2 t beef bouillon
- 1/4 y thyme
- 1/4 t pepper
- 1 lb carrots
- 16 oz frozen green beans
- 2 T cornstarch
- 2 T water

Preparation
Step 1
Coat a cold dutch oven with cooking spray. Heat to med high. Brown roast in pan, remove and drain fat. Add water, wine, onion, garlic, bouillon, thyme, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Add carrot and simmer 40 min. Add beans and simmer for 10 min. Transfer beef and vegetables to serving platter and keep warm.
Skim the fat from the pan. Add cornstarch and 2 T water. Cook until thickened and bubbly, about 2 min.
