Ingredients

  • Vidillia onions
  • 1 jar of instant beef granules
  • 1 box of croutons
  • Mozarella cheese - shredded
  • 1 stick of butter
  • Foil (heavy duty)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Take whole onion and peel off outside skin
2. Take a tsp (or mellon baller) and core out the inside of the onion, leaving enough thickness for the wall of the onion
3. After onion is cored out, chop up the onion pieces
4. Take heaping teaspoon of granules, tablespoon of butter and stuff with as much of chopped onion pieces as you can. Add 3-5 croutons
5. Wrap each onion in 2 layers of foil and form a kiss shape to the foil wrap
6. When onions are done, add mozzarella cheese and when melted, remove from heat
7. Grill for approx 1 hour (note that this is based off grilling on a charcoal grill)
