Apple Cake

Ingredients

• Cake:
• 4 cups peeled sliced apples
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup pecans
• 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tsp vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 3/4 cup veg oil
• Glaze:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/2 cup evap milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine apples and sugar. Stir in dry ingredients. In separate bowl combine eggs, oil and vanilla then stir into apple mixture. Stir in pecans. Bake in 9 x 13 pan @ 350° for 50 minutes or until done. Mix all glaze ingredients and boil gently for 3 minutes. Pour over cake
