Ingredients
- 8 cups corn (12 ears)
- 4 cups onions -- diced
- 1 pound bacon (8 oz.) -- cut 1 inch strips
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 10 ounces chicken broth (1 large can & 1 small can)
- 3 cups half and half
- 8 cups potatoes -- cubed
- 2 cups red peppers

Preparation
Step 1
* Wilt the bacon in a large soup pot over low heat for 5 minutes.
Add buter
Add the onions and wilt over low heat for 10 minutes.
Add flour and cook,stirring, another 5 minutes.
Add the chicken broth and potatoes. Continue cooking over medium-low heat
until the potatoes are just tender 12 to 15 min.
Add the half and half, corn, pepper and salt to taste.
cook 5 minutes and serve.

1 1/2 lb. Buter
2 1/2 C. flour
50 C. Chicken Broth (400 oz.)
40 C. Potatoes (10 lb.)
15 C. Half & Half ( 1 Gallon)
