Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 cups, rhubarb
  • (if you use frozen rhubarb, measure when frozen. Thaw
  • completely and drain but do not press liquid out.)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup cubed cold butter

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cake per usual directions. Pour into 13" x 9" greased
cake pan. Mix topping and sprinkle over batter.

Bake 350 oven for 45-50 min. Should be dry on toothpick
when tested.
