Ingredients

  • DRY MIXTURE:
  • 7 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups bran
  • 1 1/2 cups dry milk powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups sunflower seeds
  • 1 1/3 cups shelled pumpkin seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups sesame seeds
  • 1 1/2 cups cashew nuts (crushed)
  • 1 cup pecans (crushed)
  • 1 1/3 cups walnuts (crushed)
  • 1 1/3 cups almonds (sliced)
  • 1 1/2 cups raisins
  • WET MIXTURE:
  • 1 3/4 cups honey
  • 2 cups canola oil
  • 3/4 cup molasses

Preparation

Step 1

Bring canola oil, honey and molasses to a light boil. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Pour liquid over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.

Invert mixture onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper on the bottom and press into sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes.

Allow to cool, cut into 2" x 4" bars, wrap with saran wrap and freeze.

Sunflower Seeds: 250 g
Pumpkin Seeds: 200 g
Sesame Seeds: 225 g
Cashews: 225 g
Pecans: 125 g
Walnuts: 185 g
Almonds: 150 g
