Easy dried fruits granola bars
Homemade granola bars with dried fruits and a variety of nuts makes for a healthy and filling snack. Take with you for a quick breakfast, with a small container of yogurt.
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- Less than half teaspoon baking soda
- Less than half teaspoon vanilla extract
- Chopped almonds
- Chopped walnuts
- Chopped dried strawberries
Preparation time 10mins
Cooking time 25mins
In a bowl mix oats, flour and baking soda. Add butter and honey and mix them well. Finally, add the dried fruits and mix well.
Apply butter to the baking tray and transfer the granola mix to it. With the help of a spatula you can shape it in a square. Flatten the mixture.
Bake it for 15 minutes at 350°F or till it turns golden brown.
