Strawberry short cake

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c flour
• 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/8 tsp. slt
• 1/4 c mildk
• 1 tbs butter
• Make 3 layers (so triple recipe)
• Whipped Cream
• Heavy cream
• podered sugar to taste
• 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

In mixer bowl beat egg at high speed about 4 min or till thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar. Continue beating at med. speed for 4 - 5 min or till sugar dissolves.

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mix to egg mixture. stir just till blended. In sm. saucepan heat mild and butter till butter melts. Stir into batter and mix well. Greese pan and bake till cake springs back and leaves no imprint when lightly touched. cool.

Mix together on high speed until desired thickness Layer sponge cake, whipped cream and berries.
