Ingredients
- for sauce :
- 1 teaspoon each salt and chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon each onion powder,
- celery seed, and black pepper
- 2 1/2 pound beef brisket, trimmed of excess fat
- 1/2 cup each ketchup and chili sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons each Worcestershire sauce
- and cider vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard

Preparation
Step 1
Combine salt, garlic powder, onion powder, celery seed, salt and pepper. Place brisket in crock pot. Rub mixture over the brisket. Pour half of the sauce around the brisket. Cook 4-5 hours at high, then cook at low until tender. Serve with the rest of the sauce on the side.
