Ingredients

  • 8 oz cooked fettuccini
  • 1 Tb butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tb flour
  • 1 1/3 cups fat-free milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parm cheese
  • 2 Tb tub-style light cream cheese
  • 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter and add garlic. Sir in flour and gradually add milk using a whisk until blended. Cook until thinkened and bubbly (about 8 minutes) stiring constantly. Add 1 cup parm cheese and stir constantly until it melts. Add cream cheese to pan, cook over low heat. Add remaining 1/4 parm cheese to top with parsley.

Yields: 4 servings
