Ingredients
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/8 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp instant beef bouillon
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 can( 14 1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes, pureed

Preparation
Step 1
melt butter in medium sized saucepan. saute onion and green pepper until tender, about 5 minutes. stir in flour, bouillon, salt and pepper until smooth. remove from heat and gradually stir in milk. heat to boiling, stirring constantly for about 1 minute. stir pureed tomatoes into milk mixture. heat to serving temperature.
yield; 5 cups
options; may add cooked rice
