Lemon-Oregano Chicken Drumsticks

  • 4 T fresh lemon juice
  • 4 T coarsely chopped fresh oregano
  • 4 garlic cloves, pressed
  • 2 T EVOO
  • 2 t finely grated lemon peel
  • 16 chicken drumsticks

Step 1

Whisk first 6 ingredients in small bowl. Season to taste with freshly ground black pepper. Divide marinade and pour into two one gallon ziplock bags.

Add 8 chicken legs to each bag. Turn bag to coat chicken. Marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes or in refrigerator up to 2 days, turning occasionally.

Place chicken in single layer on broiler pan rack and pour 1 cup water in bottom of pan.

Bake at 350 for approximately an hour, turning once.
