Linguini with Italian Sausage and Peppers

  • 10 oz. linguini
  • 1 lb. Italian sausage
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 green, yellow, or red peppers cut into thin strips
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz.) Italian Paste with Italian Seasonings
  • grated Parmesan or Romano cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to package. Drain and keep warm. Meanwhile brown sausage in large skillet for 10 minutes. Drain and slice. Add onion, peppers to skillet. Cook 3 minutes or until vegetables are tender crisp. Add undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, plus 3/4 cup water, sausages. Simmer 5 minutes. Toss with pasta and serve with cheese.
