Pork Chops with Sage-Garlic Butter

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick butter, melted
- 1/2 small red onion, chopped
- 1 tsp. rubbed or ground Sage
- 3 lrg. cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. Parsley, dried or 1/4 c. chopped fresh.
- 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
- 4 3/4 in. thick pork loin chops

Preparation
Step 1
In heavy skillet, heat olive oil & butter, sprinkle chops with salt & pepper & cook till browned. Set aside & keep warm.
In the same pan, toss the onion & garlic- cook about 4 min. till onions are translucent . Add the sage & parsley stirring to prevent burning. Place chops on top & cover with lid, lower to simmer temp. & let re-warm for 5-10 min.
Sauce may be used over the chops or over potatos, pasta or rice.
