1. In a large mixing bowl beat butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/4 cup reduced-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel), softened
- 1 8 ounce can almond paste
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup refrigerated or frozen egg product, thawed, or 1 egg
