Cool, Creamy Chocolate Dessert

- 1 (8-ounce) carton frozen reduced-calorie whipped topping, thawed and divided
- 3 cups 1% low-fat milk
- 2 (3.9-ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding mix
- Unsweetened cocoa (optional)
Almond Espresso Bars

In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar and espresso until blended
- GLAZE:
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup brewed espresso
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup chopped slivered almonds, toasted
- 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Brown Sugar and Spice Apple Pie

For the crust: 1. In the bowl of a food processor, pulse together the flour and salt just to combine

- 2 teaspoons freshly grated nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

- 1/2 cup milk ($.05)
- 3/4 cup canned pumpkin ($.75ish)
- 1 tsp homemade pumpkin pie spice ($.05)

Chocolate Apples

- 3 ounces milk chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup raisins

- 1/2 white onion diced
- 2 to 3 cloves garlic crushed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary
