- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
- 2/3 c. cooking oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- Add and mix ~
- 2 c. flour
Slow Cooker Italian Meatball Soup

Spray 3- to 4-quart slow cooker with cooking spray
- 1 bag (16 oz) frozen cooked Italian meatballs, thawed
- 1 3/4 cups flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
- 1 cup water
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano, undrained
- 1 can (19 oz) cannellini beans, drained
- 1/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

- 3 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon orange extract
- 1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow creme
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- Orange peel strips
MOCHA BREAD PUDDING

1. Grease inner crock with butter
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 12 cups cubed hearty white bread, or very light whole wheat, preferably day-old
- 4 cups whole milk
- 6 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. instant coffee granules
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted

- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1 piece lemon rind

- 10 slices cinnamon bread, cut into cubes
- 1 cup raisins

- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 16-oz. can fat-free sweetened condensed milk
Macaroni and Cheese

1. Stir all ingredients together in slow cooker
- 1-3 Tbsp. butter, melted, depending upon how rich you’d like the dish to be
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni, uncooked
- 1 quart milk
- 8-12 ozs. shredded sharp cheddar cheese, or cubed Velveeta cheese (not the low-fat variety)
- 1/2-1 tsp. salt, depending on your taste and dietary preferences
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Linguini with Rabe and Parsley Pesto

Bring a large pot of water to a boil for the pasta
- 1 large bunch broccoli rabe, trimmed and cut into 2- to 3-inch lengths
- 1/2 About 1/2 cup EVOO – Extra Virgin Olive Oil, divided
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- 1 small red chili pepper, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, sliced, divided
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 cups flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 cup toasted pine nuts
- 3 to 4 anchovy filets, drained (if in oil) or rinsed (if in salt) and chopped
- Zest and juice of 1 lemon
- Pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 pound linguine
