Creamy Baked Spaghetti

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1 pound spaghetti noodles, cooked al dente and drained
- 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 24 ounce jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste
Southern Chicken-Fried Steak

In a shallow dish, combine 1/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
- 1 1/4 teaspoons black pepper, divided
- 1 1/4 pounds beef cubed steak
- 1 egg
- 2 1/4 cups milk, divided
- 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
Roasted Artichoke Heart Mashed Potatoes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 3 pounds red potatoes, quartered
- 1 large red onion, in 1/2-inch dice
- 2 (14-ounce)cans artichoke hearts packed in water, drained
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 1/2 cups chicken or vegetable stock, or the water from artichoke hearts, warmed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Chocolate Polka Dot Cake

Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- 1 (18.25-ounce) package devil's food cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup plus 1/2 teaspoon vegetable shortening
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar

- 1 package (18.25 ounces) lemon supreme cake mix
- 1 small package (3 ounces) orange Jell-O
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon orange extract (do not omit)
- 1 1/4 cups orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon unsweetened orange Kool-Aid, dry powder

- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups sugar

- 1/4 cup baking cocoa
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda

Buttermilk Chicken Nuggets

- 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup Italian-flavored bread crumbs
- 1 (1-ounce) package dry ranch dressing mix
- 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper, optional
- 1 egg

1. Beat butter and sugars in a large bowl with mixer on medium speed until fluffy
- 3 sticks (11/2 cups) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp each ground cinnamon and salt
- 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 bag (about 10 oz) silver mint (clear) hard candies or ice-blue hard mint candies, unwrapped

- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 oz pork, sliced into thin pieces
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 oz bean sprouts, roots removed (optional)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce to to taste
- 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 dashes white pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic chili sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vinegar
