Caribbean Sausage and Peppers

Cook and drain pasta as directed on package
- 3 cups of uncooked penne pasta
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 pound of fully cooked turkey kielbasa sausage, cut into 1/2 inch
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper,sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp of all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp of chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/4 tsp of ground cloves
- 1 mango or peach, cut into 1/2 inch
- 2 cans(14 1/2oz)whole tomatoes,undrained

1 Heat oven to 375°F. In medium bowl, stir cookie mix, butter and egg until soft dough forms
- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz)sugar cookie mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 egg
- 1 container (12 oz) white frosting
- Red string licorice
- Assorted candies
Blueberry Muffins

Preheat oven to 400. Grease 10 regular or 8 large muffin cups, or line with paper liners
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries*
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Strawberry Patch Salad

In large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water
- 1 package (4-serving size) strawberry-flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen sweetened strawberries in syrup, thawed and syrup reserved
- 1 (8- ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 ripe banana, mashed
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans

- 3 slices bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/3 cup chopped onion

- 1 (15-ounce) can black-eyed peas, undrained
- 1 (6.2-ounce) package quick long-grain rice, seasoning packet included
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Taco Biscuit Bake

In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain
- 1 pound lean ground beef (90% lean)
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 envelope taco seasoning
- 2 tubes (12 ounces each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 1 can (15 ounces) chili con carne
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- Salsa and sour cream, optional
