Wendy’s Chili

In a frying pan, brown the ground beef; drain
- 2 lbs. fresh ground beef
- 1 qt. tomato juice
- 1 (29 oz.) can tomato puree
- 1 (15 oz.) can red beans, drained
- 1 medium onion (1 1/2 c.), chopped
- 1/2 C. celery, diced
- 1/4 C. green pepper, diced
- 1/4 C. chili powder (you may want to use less, some people find this is too much)
- 1 tsp. cumin (if you like real flavor, add more)
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. each: black pepper, oregano, sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Pie Crust

- 2 Cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 2/3 Cup lard
- 1/4 Cup ice water

I don't know if this is Cracker Barrel's actual hash browns casserole recipe, but it is close
- 2 lbs frozen hash browns
- 1/2 cup margarine or 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 (10 1/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1/2 cup onion, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

- 2 cans (14.5-ounce) chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (4 ounces) Monterey Jack cheese, grated

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 1 (8-0z) package sliced fresh baby portobello mushrooms
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbs minced fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 (16-oz) package medium egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 1 (5-oz) package shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup Panko (Japanese bread crumbs)
- 2 tsp olive oil
Slow Roasted Baby Back Ribs

Adjust the oven rack to the center of the oven and preheat to 225 degrees
- Rub:
- 2 slabs of baby back ribs (about 4 pounds total)
- 1 to 2 cups Barbecue sauce
- 1 tbs dried parsley
- 1 tbs dried thyme
- 1 tbs dried oregano
- 1 tbs dried paprika
- 1 tbs onion salt
- 1 tbs garlic salt
- 1 tbs sugar
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix

Combine all ingredients together, and mix well
- 6 tsp. chili powder
- 5 tsp. paprika
- 4 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 2 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 3 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
