- FOR BROWNIES:
- 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter
- 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, cut up
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs, room temp.
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teas pure vanilla extract
- FOR ESPRESSO-CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tbsp instant espresso powder
- 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, broken up
- 1 teas pure vanilla extract

1. Preheat the oven to 400
- 1 17.3oz pkg frozen puff pastry, slightly thawed
- 1 12oz pkg andouille sausage links, cut into 32 pieces
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups flat leaf parsley leaves
- 1 cup cilantro leaves
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 1/2 tblsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 teas crushed red pepper

- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 5 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teas baking soda
- 2 teas cinnamon

- FOR COOKIES:
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teas baking powder
- 1 teas cinnamon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 sticks salted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teas vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1/2 cup apple butter
- 1 cup chopped tart apples
- 6 oz raisins
- 4 oz pecans, finely chopped

- 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar

Butter Pecan Banana Cake

1. Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour 10 inch bundt pan
- FOR FROSTING:
- 1 pkg butter golden cake mix
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine

Poblano Popper Super-Slides

1. Preheat broiler to high
- 2 large Poblano chilies
- 1 small red onion, thinly sliced into rings
- Juice of 2 limes, divided
- Salt and pepper
- EVOO - Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, for drizzling
- 1 small ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- A handful cilantro, finely chopped
