- 1 TBS homemade onion powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp basil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 cup sweet onion, grated
- 3/4 cup tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1/4 cup homemade salsa, blended until smooth
- kosher salt
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
