POTATO PANCAKE

As you peel potatoes immediately immerse in very cold water
- 6 5 large or 6 small nice firm potatoes
- 1 large onion (you can use about 1/2 cup of scallions for a variation - delicious and colorful)
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Tbsp flour (we use unbleached all-purpose) or even matzah meal for a slightly different flavor
- Enough vegetable (we use canola now - it's healthier) oil for frying
Cheesy Garlic Pull-Apart Bread

Add garlic and salt to olive oil and stir
- Store-bought pizza dough
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup of grated Parmesan1 cup of mozzarella

Salted Caramel Apple Pie Biscuit Bites

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
- 1 can Pillsbury biscuits, 8-10 count
- 1/2 cup half and half

- 6-8 small chicken cutlets or breast filets (1.5-2 lbs)

Quick and Easy Healthy Fried Rice

1. Cook egg whites in butter substitute in a 10-inch skillet until set
- 2 cups leftover brown rice
- 2 egg whites, beaten
- 3 tablespoons butter substitute
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped
- 3 to 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 handful cashew or almond pieces
- 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/3 cup water
Cream of Broccoli Soup

Chop onion and celery. In a heavy pot, melt butter and add the chopped onion and celery
- 8 cups chopped broccoli florets (about 4 lbs)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 celery sticks
- 12 oz chicken stock
- 16 oz heavy whipping cream
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
Crockpot Pasta Fagioli

Brown beef in a skillet. Drain fat from beef and add to crock pot with everything except pasta
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 4 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 (28 ounce) cans diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (16 ounce) can red kidney beans, drained
- 1 (16 ounce) can white kidney beans, drained
- 3 (10 ounce) cans beef stock
- 3 teaspoons oregano
- 2 teaspoons pepper
- 5 teaspoons parsley
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (optional)
- 1 (20 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 8 ounces pasta
German Potato Pancakes

Coarsely grate the potatoes and put them and the onion in a strainer
- 4 baking potatoes (about 1-1/2 pounds)
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
Spaghetti Carbonara

Bring a large pot of Salted Water to a boil
- 1 pound Spaghetti
- Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 Garlic Cloves; thinly sliced
- 4 Eggs; room temperature
- 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese; plus more to garnish
- Salt
- Freshly Cracked Black Pepper

- For Pickle Mustard, add chopped dill pickles and a splash of pickle juice.
- For Caramelized Onion and Thyme Mustard, add chopped caramelized onions and some dried thyme.
- For Wasabi-Ginger Mustard, add wasabi and ground ginger.
- For Hot Maple Mustard, add hot sauce and maple syrup.
- For Cumin-Cilantro Mustard, add cumin and cilantro.
