- 2 tsp kosher salt or sea salt, divided
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 2 -3 tsps TABASCO® Sauce (original)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil

- 4 tbsp grease
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 to 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
- 1 lb beef stew meat or 1 lb roast cut into small, bite-size pieces
- 2 carrots, finely chopped
- 2-3 potatoes, cubed
- 3 celery stalks, finely sliced
- 2 T dehdrated onion or 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 (10 3/4 oz) can of tomato soup
- 2 T dry tapioca

In a mixing bowl, beat together lard, salt, sugar and baking powder until light and fluffy
- 1 1/2 pounds masa
- 1/2 pound lard
- 2 cups fresh corn
- 1 cup jack cheese, grated
- 1 cup poblano chiles, roasted, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 16 cornhusks, soaked in warm water
Cheeseburger Egg Rolls

Bring a large skillet sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat
- 8 oz. raw extra-lean ground beef (4% fat or less)
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- Dash each salt and black pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 3 tbsp. shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese
- 3 tbsp. light/reduced-fat cream cheese
- 2 tbsp. ketchup
- 1 tbsp. yellow mustard
- 6 hamburger dill pickle chips, chopped
- 6 large square egg roll wrappers (stocked with the refrigerated Asian items in the supermarket)
- Optional dips: additional ketchup and yellow mustard

- 1 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped chipotle chiles in adobo sauce (from 7-oz can)
- 2 teaspoon grated lime peel
- 6 cups chopped cold deli rotisserie chicken (from 2- to 2 1/2-lb chicken)
- 3 cups thinly sliced iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup Green Giant™ frozen corn, cooked, cooled
- 2 small tomato, seeded, chopped (1/3 cup)
- 2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese (4 oz)
- 1 package (11 oz) Old El Paso™ flour tortillas for burritos (8 tortillas; 8 inch)
- Old El Paso™ Thick 'n Chunky salsa, or any kind of salsa

- 5 Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves,
- cut into 2 inch pieces
- 1 Packet Shake'N Bake Seasoned Coating Mix (Original Chicken)

- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 2 (11 ounce) cans condensed cream of Cheddar cheese soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt and pepper to taste

Baked Detalini With Three Cheeses

1. Prepare pasta according to package directions, reducing cooking time by one-third; drain
- 1 pound Ditalini, Elbow Macaroni or other medium pasta shape, uncooked
- 1 cup skim milk
- 3/4 cup part-skim Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup grated low-fat Cheddar cheese
- 1/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs, dry
- 2 tablespoons melted margarine

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
- 3-4 chicken breasts about 1lb, cut in strips (I get about 3 out of one breast)
- 4-5 tbsp melted butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp seasoning salt I use Lawry's
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
Caramelized Onion and Bacon Pull-Apart Bread

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/4 pound bacon (3 to 4 slices), cut into 1/4-inch dice
- 3 large onions, thinly sliced (about 8 cups)
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
