Honey-Sesame Grilled Chicken Wings

1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and chili paste
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 * 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 * 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 * 1 tablespoon Asian chili paste
- 2 * 2 pounds chicken wings, tips removed, cut apart at joint
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 teaspoons hoisin sauce
- 2 * 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
- 1 * 1 green onion, trimmed and chopped
Thanksgiving Twofer Pie

1. For the crust: Put flour, sugar, and salt into a food processor; pulse to combine
- FOR A 9" SINGLE CRUST:
- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 3 ⁄4 tsp. salt
- 1 ⁄4 sticks (10 tbsp.) very cold (frozen is fine) unsalted
- butter, cut into tbsp.-size pieces
- 2 1⁄2 tbsp. very cold (frozen is even better) vegetable
- shortening, cut into 2 pieces
- FOR THE PUMPKIN FILLING:
- 1 cup canned unsweetened pumpkin puree
- 2 ⁄3 cup heavy cream
- 1 ⁄2 cup (packed) light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 tsp. dark rum
- 1 ⁄2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 ⁄2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 ⁄4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 ⁄4 tsp. salt
- FOR THE PECAN FILLING:
- 1 ⁄2 cup light or dark corn syrup
- 1 ⁄4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 ⁄2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
- 1 ⁄4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 ⁄8 tsp. salt
- 1 1⁄2 cups (about 7 oz.) pecan halves or pieces

Grilled Steak and Eggs with Beer and Molasses

- 1 1/2 teaspoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 cup lager-style beer
- 1 1/2 teaspoons yellow mustard
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 1-pound strip steaks (1/2 inch thick)
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Sticky Chicken

- 2 * 2 pounds chicken wings
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 * 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 * 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning
- 1 * 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Sugar and Nut Glazed Brie

- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts or pecans
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1 (14-ounce) round brie

- 2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
