Peach Mint Old Fashioned

Muddle 1st 4 ingredients in rocks glass until mint leaves are bruised and peaches have released their juices
- 2 slices of peach, plus more to garnish
- 1/4-1/2 ounce simple syrup (to preference)
- 3-4 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 5 dashes of bitters (preferably peach)
- 2 oz bourbon

With Thanksgiving mere days away, I thought I better share this great make-ahead side I developed for
- 6 cups green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces (about 1 1/2 pounds)
- 4 1/2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3 shallots, minced
- 8-ounces Crimini or white mushrooms, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup dry sherry
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 2 cups Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar, shredded and divided, 8-ounces
- 3 tablespoons dry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Bacon, Shrimp and Corn Chowder

Crispy bacon, perfectly cooked shrimp and corn are the ultimate comfort foods in this creamy chowder!
- 5 slices Hickory Smoked Wright Brand Bacon, cut into small pieces
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups chopped yellow onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Pinch crushed red pepper
- 2-1/2 cups frozen corn kernels
- 3 cups chicken stock
- 1 cup half and half
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh thyme sprigs for garnish, if desired

- 1 pound bakery white bread, cut into 1-inch cubes (16 cups)
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 pound sliced applewood-smoked bacon, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 large onion, halved and thinly sliced
- One 28-ounce can whole Italian tomatoes—drained, chopped and patted dry
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 pound extra-sharp cheddar, shredded (about 2 cups)
- 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, shredded (about 2 cups)
- 2 tablespoons snipped chives
- 1 3/4 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- Salt
- 8 large eggs
- Hot sauce, for serving
Triple Berry Infused Vodka

- 1 orange, cut into slices

- 750 ml of your favorite vodka

Hawaiian Chicken Drummies

- 2 pounds chicken drummettes (or party wings - a combination of drummettes and wings)
- 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons pineapple, finely minced
- 1/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled

Bloody Mary in Shot form
- Fill shaker with ice.
- 1 1/2 oz Peppar Vodka
- 5-7 dashes tabasco sauce
- Dash of Clamato juice (or Tomato)
