Marsha’s Texas Style Chili

Brown beef cubes on all sides (I used spray oil for this)
- 1 pound cubed extra lean stew beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1 clove garlic (I use the minced garlic in the jar)
- 1 10.5 oz can condensed beef broth plus 1 can water
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp oregano
- 4 Tbsp cumin (I double checked this with Marsha–yes, she uses that much. I only had 1 Tbsp in my house, and it was still good.)
- 2 tsp chili
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 bay leaves (I did not have these–left them out.)
- 1 can diced cooked tomatoes
- 1 can black beans, rinsed
Mile High Fudge Brownie Pie

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 4 squares Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups cold milk
- 2 package (4-serving size each) Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
- 8 ounces cool whip, thawed, divided
Caramel Apple Skillet Cobbler

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- For the filling:
- 1 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 3/4 to 2 cups fresh apples, pealed and sliced
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup walnut pieces
- 1/4 cup Caramel Ice Cream Sauce
Fresh Apple Cinnamon Muffins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and finely chopped
- 4 tablespoons (1/4 cup) butter, melted
- 1/3 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
Rachel with a Twist

In a small bowl, combine the first five ingredients; spread over bread bottom
- 1/2 cup fat-free mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
- 12 ounces cuban bread or French bread, halved lengthwise
- 6 ounces thinly sliced deli turkey
- 6 slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese
- 1 cup sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
RITZ LEMON PUDDING

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 1/2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
- 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
- 2 boxes instant lemon pudding
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding
- Whipped cream or Cool Whip for topping
American Pasta Salad

In a large pot of boiling water, cook pasta until tender
- 1 pound pasta (shells or twists)
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled and chopped
- 1 cup diced mozzarella cheese
- 1 red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
- 4 or 5 scallion, finely chopped
Chicken Tortilla Soup #2

Add all ingredients except garnish in order listed to a slow cooker
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 15-oz. cans black beans
- 15-oz. can corn, drained
- 2 14-1/2 oz. cans diced tomatoes with green chiles
- 1 c. salsa
- 14-1/2 oz. can tomato sauce
- Garnish: shredded Pepper Jack cheese, sour cream, crushed tortilla chips
Banana Pudding Cake

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix milk and pudding together until pudding gets thick
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 3.5-ounce banana instant dry pudding
- 1 18.25-ounce spice cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 2 bananas, mashed
- 1 16-ounce can white frosting or powdered sugar, to garnish
Quick Chicken 'n' Dumplings

Bring first 5 ingredients to a boil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring often
- 4 cups water
- 3 cups chopped cooked rotisserie chicken
- 2 (10-3/4-ounce) cans cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
- 1 teaspoon seasoned pepper
- 1 (7.5-ounce) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
