Puerto Rican Carne Molida (Ground Beef)

If you’re looking for simple recipes with ground beef, you may want to give this carne molida recipe a try
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 tablespoon adobo
- 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon meat tenderizer
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet Sazón
- 1 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 1/2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons sofrito (or recaito)
- 10-11 green olives (Spanish salad olives) + 1-2 teaspoons olive liquid
- 2-3 small potatoes, peeled, rinsed, and cubed
- 10 baby carrots, rinsed and chopped
Arroz con Gandules

Heat the oil in a pot at high heat, and when the oil is nice and hot, add the bacon
- 2 1/2 cups long grain white rice
- 5 cups water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons sofrito (jarred or make your own by dicing onion, bell pepper (any kind), garlic, cilantro and tomato)
- 1/4 cup chopped bacon or to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped ham or sausage or to taste
- 2 tablespoons Spanish olives
- 1 can green or dry pigeon peas, drained
- 1 envelope sazon with annato
- 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon tomato paste
- salt and black pepper to taste
Halloween Poke Cake

Prepare and bake cake according to package directions, using a greased 13-in
- 1 - 18 oz pkg fudge marble cake mix (prepared according to package directions adding the eggs, oil and water)
- 1- 3 oz packages orange gelatin
- 1 - cup boiling water
- 1/2 - cup cold water
- 1/2 - cup butter, softened
- 3-1/2 - cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/3 - cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 - cup milk
- 1 - teaspoon vanilla extract
- 12 to 15 pieces of pumpkin mix, indian or candy corn

Fried Saimin-Fast and Easy

Melt butter, then add your vegetables
- 1 tablespoon Butter
- Vegetables of your choice (I used a bag of chop suey mix)
- Onions, sliced
- Meat of choice (char siu, spam, chicken, teri beef), sliced thinly
- Fresh or frozen S&S Saimin (or any brand--the fresh or frozen kind, not ramen)
- Other flavors you enjoy: shoyu, sesame oil, etc.
- Green onions, sliced
Grilled Chimichurri Chicken | GOYA

1. To bowl of food processor, add onion, garlic, Adobo and hot pepper flakes
- 1/4 red onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp. GOYA® Minced Garlic, or 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 1/2 tsp. GOYA® Adobo All-Purpose Seasoning with Pepper
- 1/8 tsp. hot pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup packed fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup packed fresh parsley
- 2 tbsp. packed fresh oregano
- 2 tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup GOYA® Extra Virgin Olive Oil, plus more for brushing
- 1 pkg. (1.5 lbs.) chicken breasts
- 1 onion, thinly sliced into rings
- 2 red, and/or green bell peppers, cored, seeded and thinly sliced into rings
Jewel Brooch Cookies

Mix flour and sugar. Add butter and mix as for pie crust until coarse crumbs are formed
- 1 cup + 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- Garnishes: Crystalized cherries cut in quarters, stiff jam or jelly (seeded black or red raspberry jam is delicious), bits of candided ginger, tiny cubs of candied orange or lemon peel or citron, semi sweet chocolate pieces, almond halves etc.
Mac & Cheese Cupcakes

Toss macaroni with olive oil; set aside
- 1 (8-oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, cooked
- 1 t. olive oil
- 1-1/2 c. milk
- 2 T. cornstarch
- 1 t. Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. seasoned dry bread crumbs
Rosemary Roasted Potatoes

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F
- 2 pounds small red potatoes, washed and quartered
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Prepare, bake and cool cake as directed on the package for two 8 or 9-inch pans
- 1 (18.25 oz.) pkg. red velvet cake mix (plus ingredients to make the cake)
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
- 1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, thawed
Cracked Peppercorn Pork

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 pork tenderloin (1 to 1-1/2 pounds)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 cup seedless raspberry preserves
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
