Apple Cinnamon Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (not packed)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped
Asparagus and Shrimp with Angel Hair

1. Cook pasta according to package directions
- 3 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
- 1/2 pound uncooked shrimp (16-20 per pound) peeled and deveined
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 TBS olive oil, divided
- 8 fresh asparagus spears, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup chopped seeded tomato, peeled
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp chopped green onion
- 1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh basil
- 1 1/2 minced fresh oregano
- 1 1/2 1/2 tsp minced fresh parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp minced fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Lemon wedges
Heavenly Fruit Dip

Combine first five ingredients in a heavy saucepan
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup whipping cream, whipped
Chicken Rice Dinner

Combine flour, salt and pepper; coat chicken pieces
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 10 chicken thighs (about 3 pounds)
- 3 tbs vegetable oil
- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 can (4 ounces) mushroom stems and pieces, undrained
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 cups boiling water
- Minced fresh parsley, optional
Chicken Breast on crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 6 oz cooked chicken breast, chopped
- 1 can crescent rolls
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Chicken Spaghetti

This recipe came from "One Pot Meals" from a Gooseberry Patch Cookbook
- 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8-oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 16-oz pkg. broccoli flowerets
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 16-oz pkg. spaghetti, cooked
- Garnish: grated Parmesan cheese
Mexican Corn Casserole

Beat eggs in a large bowl; add the next eight ingredients and mix well
- 4 eggs
- 1 can (15 1/4 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 can (14 3/4 oz) cream style corn
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 cans (4 oz each) chopped green chilies
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 cups (12 oz) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Jalapeno pepper and sweet red pepper rings, optional
Original Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsel Cookies

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks butter) softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 3/4 cups cups (11.5 oz) Nestle milk chocolate morsels
- 1 cup chopped nuts
ORIENTAL CABBAGE SALAD

Heat oven to 350 degrees Combine melted butter, noodles, sunflower seeds and slivered almonds on a cookie sheet
- 2 (16 oz) pkg. coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup radishes (chopped fine)
- 1/2 cup red or green peppers (chopped)
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- 2 pkg beef or oriental flavor Ramen noodles (crumbled)
- 3/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 3/4 cup slivered almonds
- DRESSING
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 flavoring packets from noodles
Pig Pickin Cake

Cake: Mix cake mix, oil, eggs, and oranges
- For Frosting:
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 can mandarin oranges
- 1 jar red maraschino cherries
- 1 small can crushed pineapple
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 small box instant vanilla pudding
- 1 large container whipped topping
