Slow Cooker Bbq Chicken Soup

- 3 grilled chicken breasts seasoned with your favorite BBQ sauce, chopped
- 1 yellow pepper, chopped
- 1 orange pepper, chopped
- 2 (11 oz) cans Mexican corn (corn with peppers)
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 15 oz can black beans (or 2 cups black beans)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup fresh cilantro, roughly chopped

Season meat with salt and pepper
- 1 About 1 lb cubed beef meat
- 1 lg green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 onion, roughly chopped
- 1 lg tomato, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped garlic
- 2 tsp cumin
- Black pepper
- 1 oz water
- 1 qt beef broth
- 1/2 c. blonde roux, made from 1/2 c. flour and 1/2 c. fat

Crispy Oven Baked Tilapia and Lemon Tomato Fettuccine

Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- 2 lemons
- 1 c. panko breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp paprika
- 4 tilapia fillets
- Salt
- 5 tbs melted butter
- 16 oz pkg fettuccine
- 1 tbs oil
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 4 pressed garlic cloves
- 1 14oz can petite diced tomatoes
- 1/4 c. crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 c. fresh chopped basil
Roasted Fish

Rub each fillet with oil, then 1 teaspoon of each spice
- Fish fillets of choice 1 per serving
- Oil
- Chili powder
- Garlic powder
- Cumin
- Salt
Simple Super Cresent Cinnanon Rolls

Heat oven to 375 degrees F
- Filling
- 2/3 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
- Rolls
- 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury® Crescent Recipe Creations™ refrigerated flaky dough sheet
- Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine, softened
- 2 to 3 tablespoons milk
Crab Cakes

- 1 pound crabmeat, picked free of shells
- 1/3 cup crushed crackers (recommended: Ritz)
- 3 green onions (green and white parts), finely chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Dash cayenne pepper
- Flour, for dusting
- 1/2 cup peanut oil
- Favorite dipping sauce, for serving
Polenta and Sausage Pies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 lb hot Italian sausage (casings removed if present)
- 1 1/2 c. chopped red sweet peppers (2 medium)
- 1 1/2 c. chopped green sweet peppers (2 medium)
- 1/2 c. chopped onion (1 medium)
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning, crushed
- 1 14 1/2 oz can stewed tomatoes, drained
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tbs instant polenta
- 4 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/3 c.instant polenta
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese (2 ounces)
Easy Curried Shrimp

Melt butter with curry, onion, and ginger and cook until onion begins to soften
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 1/2 tbs curry
- 1/4 c. onion
- 1/8 tsp dried ginger or 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
- 3 tbs flour
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 1 c. milk
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 8 oz shrimp

- 1 tbs unsalted butter
- 1 tbs packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp salt, plus more for seasoning
- 3/4 1b carrots, cut on the bias into coins
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tsp minced fresh parsley leaves
- Freshly ground black pepper
Winter Green Salad
