Cream butter and sugar, add sifted flour, Vanilla and Nuts
- 1 cup Butter
- 4 Tablespoons Sugar
- 2 cups Flour
- 2 Teaspoons vanilla

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- 2 sheets (1 box) frozen puff pastry, defrosted overnight in the refrigerator (I use Pepperidge Farm from the supermarket)
- Four , for dusting
- 1 extra-large egg
- 1 T water
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
- 1 cup finely grated Gruyere
- 1 t. minced fresh thyme leaves
- 1 t. kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Glazed Beef Ribs

Directions: Mix marmalade and add mustard, soy sauce, lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce and baste ribs
- Ingredients:
- 1 rack beef ribs, cut in half
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup orange marmalade
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Homemade Breakfast Sandwiches with Homemade Maple Sausage, Egg and Cheese

Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 4 Portuguese or kaiser rolls, sliced in half
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus 1 tablespoon not melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil

- 2/3 cup quinoa, rinsed and drained
- 1 3/4 cups 1-percent milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon pure almond extract
- Pinch freshly grated nutmeg, plus extra for garnish
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 cup mixed dried fruit, such as chopped apricots and dried cherries, plus extra for garnish, optional

In a large saucepan, over medium heat, mix together all the wet ingredients and then add the seasonings
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cups unsulphured molasses
- 2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
- 4 teaspoons hickory flavored liquid smoke
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
