  • 1 tbsp hazelnut oil or vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese (can substitute cream cheese)
  • For the Whipped Ganache
  • 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • To Decorate (optional)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Additional toasted hazelnuts, chocolate-covered nuts, chocolate curls, etc
