Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
- Corn Custard, recipe follows
- 1 to 2 leeks, green part only reserving the white for other uses, blanched and cut in-half lengthwise
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 3 zucchini, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 3 tomatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 1 eggplant, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 3 yellow squash, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- Roasted red peppers
- Spinach leaves
- 4 cups raw corn, cut from the cob
- 8 eggs
- 4 cups cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 teaspoons fresh thyme
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Mango-Kiwi Relish

Combine mango and the remaining ingredients
- 1/2 cup diced peeled mango
- 1/2 cup cubed peeled kiwifruit
- 1 jalapeño minced
- 1 shallot diced
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 Tbs lime juice

One-Pot Pasta Tomato Onion

Dried noodles, sauce ingredients, water—they all get thrown into a big pan and boiled for less than 10 minutes
- 12 ounces linguine
- 12 ounces cherry or grape tomatoes, halved or quartered if large
- 1 onion, thinly sliced (about 2 cups)
- 6 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1/2- 3/4 teaspoon red-pepper flakes
- 2 sprigs basil, plus torn leaves for garnish
- 2-3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for serving

LIGHT-AS-A-FEATHER DOUGHNUTS

- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. sugar
- Salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1 pkg. or cake Fleischmann's yeast, active dry or 1 tsp. compressed
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 1/4 About 3 1/4 c. unsifted flour
Delicious Nuts

Mix egg white and water with fork
- 1 egg white
- 1 T water
- 4 cups pecans or walnuts (1 lb. shelled) cup sugar
- 3/4 t salt
- 1/2 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t cloves
- 1/4 nutmeg
Mulled Wine Recipe

To make the perfect cup of mulled wine, combine all ingredients in either a large pot or a slow cooker
- One bottle (750 mL) of red wine (suggestions: Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Merlot)
- One peeled and sliced orange (keep peel to add zest to taste into cooking pot)
- 1/4 cup of brandy
- 8-10 cloves
- 1/3 cup honey or sugar*
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp fresh or 2 tsp ground ginger (allspice can be substituted)
- Serves 4-6
