Ranch Seasoning

Mix all together and add to burgers or sprinkle on popcorn
- 1/2 c buttermilk powder (found in baking aisle)
- 1 T dried parsley
- 2 t dried dill
- 1 t dried chives
- 1T garlic powder
- 1 T onion powder
- 1 t kosher salt
- 1/2 t pepper
Dark Chocolate Pretzel Bark

Spread chocolate on parchment-lined baking sheet
- 6 oz. Melted bittersweet chocolate
- 1/2 c total of broken pretzels, chopped roasted nuts and crunchy cereal
- 2 T raisins
- Pinch of coarse salt
Lemonade Cake

Allow butter and eggs to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
- 1/3 c butter
- 3 eggs
- 2-1/4 c flour
- 1 t baking powder
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/2 t salt
- 1-1/3 c sugar
- 1/4 c frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- 1 t vanilla
- 1-1/4 c buttermilk or sour cream
- 12 drops yellow food coloring

- 1/3 c softened butter
- 4 c powdered sugar, divided
- 1/3 c + 1-2 t frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

Ginger Cookies

Cream butter, gradually add 2/3 c of sugar, beating at medium speed until light and fluffy
- 1/4 c + 2 T butter, softened
- 2/3 c + 3 T sugar, divided
- 1/4 c molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 c flour
- 2 t baking soda
- 1 t ground ginger
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/2 t ground mace
- Cooking spray
Waffles with Cinnamon-Sauteed Apples and Bacon

Using 5 T melted butter, water and waffle mix, prepare waffles according to package instructions
- 5 T unsalted butter, melted
- 3 T butter
- 2 C warm water
- 2-1/2 C Belgian waffle mix
- 1/4 C sugar
- 1/4 C cinnamon
- 4 Fuji or Gala apples, peeled, cored and cut into 9 slices each
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 t lemon juice
- 12 slices of bacon, ccrisp
- maplle syrup
Cornbread-Chili Casserole

Preheat the oven to 375 F
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 1/2 cups mild salsa (medium or hot if preferred)
- 1 (11-ounce) can whole-kernel white shoepeg corn, drained
- 1/4 cup vegetable stock
- 2 tablespoons hot Mexican chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 (7- or 8-ounce) box cornbread muffin mix (I like Jiffy)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (about 4 ounces)
