- 2 red peppers cut into fourths
- 2 T purchased or homemade basil pesto
- 2 oz. provolone cheese cut into slices
- 1 T olive oil

Hamburgers with loads of flavor

This hamburger has a lot of ingredients but loads of flavor and is fantastic on the grill
- 1 teas soy sauce
- 1 teas Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 c blue cheese (or can use colby or cheddar)
- 1 teas dried parsley
- 1 teas dried basil
- 1 teas dried oregano
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 T garlic powder
- 1/2 teas crushed dried rosemary
- salt and pepper to taste

My mom made this cake every Christmas for us
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 1/2 c shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 c flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 T cocoa
- 1 c buttermilk
- 2 oz red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 T cider vinegar
- Frosting;
- 1 c milk
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 c flour
- 1 c sugar
- 1 c butter-must only use butter for this recipe
- 2 teas vanilla
Steamed Chicken Breast with wine, sesame oil & scallions

- 1/4 teas kosher salt
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 2 1/2 lbs.)
- 2 c white wine
- 1 teas black peppercorns
- 1-inch thick coin of peeled ginger root
- 2 teas grated and peeled ginger root
- 2 garlic cloves, 1 minced, 1 smashed and peeled
- 1/4 c soy sauce
- 2 scallions, white and green parts, thinly sliced, plus more for garnish
- 1 1/2 teas rice vinegar
- 3 T peanut or canola oil
- 1 teas Asian sesame oil
