  • 1/4 red onion, finely diced
  • 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, halved or quartered
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 inches anchovy paste
  • 2 T red wine vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, finely minced
  • 1 T dijon mustard
  • several grinds of fresh pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
