1 Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan
- 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons black pepper
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Crispy Orange Baked French Toast with Caramel Syrup

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- French Toast:
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp orange zest

- 6-8 (1 inch thick) slices day old french bread or Texas toast
- 1/4 cup butter, melted

- Caramel Syrup:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 cup light corn syrup
Spanish-Style Garlic Shrimp

Finely mince 4 garlic cloves and place in large bowl
- 12 12 12 cloves garlic
- 1 1 1 pound large shrimp, peeled, shells reserved

- 1-inch Pinch red pepper flakes, or a 1-inch piece dried guajillo chili

- 1 1 1 pound dried Great Northern white beans, picked over and rinsed

Southern Strawberry Sweet Iced Tea

Fabulous southern sweet tea infused with strawberry!
- One recipe of my Southern Sweet Iced Tea, using 5 tea bags, steeped in 4 cups of hot water for 5 minutes)
- 1 cup of granulated sugar or sugar substitute
- 2 cups of fresh whole strawberries, cleaned
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1-1/2 lemons)
- Ice cubes
- Extra strawberries, for garnish
