Colorful, spicy and refreshing
- (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen corn kernels
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 clove crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Chile-Bacon Grissini

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 30 thin slices bacon
- 30 grissini (thin Italian breadsticks)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chile powder
- 1 T. cayenne pepper

- 1-1/2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar
- 8 ounces fresh mozzarella, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/4 small white onion, thinly sliced (about 1/4 cup)
- 3/4 cup quartered grape tomatoes
- 1/2 cup loosely packed finely chopped curly parsley leaves

- 1-1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese (6 ounces)

Sesame Chicken in Slow Cooker

Spread chicken into the crock of a slow cooker
- 1 ½ pounds boneless chicken breast halves (skinless)
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons onion (dried minced)
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- to taste sesame seeds
Magical Beer-Baked Macaroni and Cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup amber beer
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/2 pound Brie
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 1/2 cups crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 2 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1 16-ounce box penne pasta, cooked and drained
- salt
- ground pepper
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
French Onion Dip and Chips

Place a medium skillet over medium to medium high heat and add the extra-virgin olive oil and the butter
- 1 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, a turn of the pan
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 medium onions, quartered lengthwise then very thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 cube beef bouillon
- 1/2 cup water
- Black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground thyme, 1/3 palm full
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, eyeball it
- 2 cups sour cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened in microwave for 20 seconds on high
