Heavenly Layered Bars

Heat oven to 350°F. Line 13x9-inch pan with heavy-duty foil, extending foil over sides of pan
- 1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated chocolate chip cookies
- 1/2 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1 bag (11 oz) butterscotch chips (2 cups)
- 1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
Cherry Pistachio Cookies Recipe

In a large bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until blended
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1 large egg
- 4 teaspoons grated orange peel
- 2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1-1/2 cups chopped dried cherries or cranberries
- 1/2 cup chopped pistachios
- 8 ounces white baking chocolate, melted
Asian Noodle Bowl

Cook the pasta al dente according to the package directions
- For the sauce:
- 8 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 teaspoon peanut oil or canola oil
- 1/3 cup unsalted peanuts
- 1 ½ cups snow peas (¼ pound), trimmed and thinly sliced lengthwise
- 2 small carrots, shredded into thin strips with vegetable peeler
- 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced into strips
- 3 scallions, green and white parts, thinly sliced, ¼ cup of sliced greens reserved for garnish
- 1/3 cup unsalted peanuts
- 1/3 cup creamy natural peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 ½ tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons finely grated fresh ginger
- Chili-garlic sauce, such as Sriracha, to taste

- Ingredients
- 3 3 3 c all purpose baking mix (bisquick, jiffy mix, pioneer brand or trader joes brand)
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1 1 can(s)sweet potatoes/yams, drain & mash (15 oz)
- 2 cooked or baked can be used; also sub butternut squash if desired, just measure about 2 c. pulp)
- 3/4 3/4 3/4 c fat-free milk
- to the leavening agents are already in the baking mix, no need to add baking powder/salt/baking soda

Preheat oven to 425°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cut into 8 wedges
- 1 Tbls lemon juice
- 1 Tbls granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
- dash of allspice
- 1/2 cup caramel bits
- 1 tsp milk
- 1 refrigerated pie crust - I used Pillsbury
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- sugar to sprinkle on top

In a blender or a food processor, combine the whole piquillos with the hummus and stock and puree until smooth
- 1 cup drained piquillo peppers (8 ounces), 1/4 cup cut into thin strips
- 3/4 cup hummus (7 ounces)
- 2 cups chicken or beef stock
- 1/2 cup cooked white rice, homemade or store-bought
- 1 cup shredded rotisserie chicken
- Salt
- Freshly ground pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
- Olive oil, for serving
- Hot sauce, for serving
