1.Sauté Italian sausage and crushed red pepper in a large pot
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 ½ tsp crushed red peppers
- 1 large diced white onion
- 4 Tbsp bacon pieces
- 2 tsp garlic puree

- 5 cubes of chicken bouillon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 lb sliced Russet potatoes, or about 3 large potatoes
- ¼ of a bunch of kale

- 2/3 cup packed fresh mint leaves
- 1/4 cup packed fresh parsley leaves
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts or chopped walnuts
- 1 garlic clove, smashed and peeled

- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

- 8 ounces 92%-lean ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon fennel seed
- 3 cups diced eggplant, (about 1/2 medium)
- 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 8-ounce cans no-salt-added tomato sauce
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano, or 1 teaspoon dried
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 2 teaspoons pine nuts, toasted (see Tip)
