Sauce - Shrimp 'Spicy Lemon-Garlic

**ATK-This recipe is designed to accompany either Charcoal-or Gas-Grilled Shrimp Skewers, (see related recipes)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter , cut into 4 pieces
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice , from 2 lemons
- 1/2 - 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3 medium cloves garlic , minced or pressed through a garlic press (about 1 tablespoon)
- 1/8 teaspoon table salt
- Disposable 10-inch aluminum pie plate
- 1/3 cup minced fresh parsley leaves
Chowder - Corn 'HashBrowns & Bacon

- 1 bag Frozen Hash Browns - thawed (16 oz.)
- 1 can Whole Kernel Corn - undrained (15.25 oz.)
- 1 can Cream - Style Corn (14.75 oz.)
- 1 can Evaporated Milk ( 12 oz.)
- 1 med. Onion - chopped
- 8 slices Bacon - cooked & crumbled
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Kabobs - C'Breast [Gr] 'Chili-Lime'

1.) In a large bowl combine the olive oil, vinegar, lime juice
- 3 Tbs olive oil
- 1 1/2 Tbs (low-sugar) red wine vinegar
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or to taste
- salt to taste
- freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1 lb skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cut into 1-1/2 inch pieces
- Assorted Bell Peppers and onions, cut into chunks
Bread - Pumpkin 'IV'

**"You might as well bake pumpkin bread in the large batch called for here, because everyone loves it
- 3 cups canned pumpkin puree
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 4 cups white sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cloves
Skewers - Shrimp 'Cajun Crusted

1 Rinse the shrimp under cold running water, then drain and blot them dry with paper towels
- Grilled corn as an accompaniment (optional; recipe below) You'll also need:
- 3 lbs extra-large or jumbo shrimp in the shell
- 3 Tbs Old Bay seasoning
- 3 Tbs Cajun Rub (see recipe below) or your favorite commercial rub
- 1 Tbs ground coriander
- 1 Tbs cracked black peppercorns
- 1 to 3 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 Tbs fresh lemon juice
- 1 bottle or can (12 ounces) beer
- 1- 1/2 cups heavy (whipping) cream
- 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 6 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
- 2 thin slices lemon (with rind), seeds removed
- 3 to 4 Tbs hot sauce (such as Crystal, Louisiana, or Tabasco)
- 2 Tbs brown sugar
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled and gently crushed with the side of a cleaver
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 1-inch pieces
- Coarse salt (kosher or sea) and freshly ground black pepper
- Crusty bread or Grilled Garlic Bread for serving (optional; recipe below)
- Kitchen shears; 3 cups wood chips or chunks (preferably hickory or
- Pecan), soaked for 1 hour in water to cover, then drained; 2
- Aluminum foil pans (8 by 12 inches)
Asparagus - Skillet 'Sesame

- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 3/4 tsp Sesame Seeds - toasted.
Zuke - Cream'd [S] 'Herbs

A shredding and drying technique is the best choice when you are pressed for time and want to cook zucchini indoors
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 medium zucchini (about 1 1/3 pounds), rinsed, trimmed, shredded, and squeezed dry (see illustrations 1 and 2, below)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley leaves , tarragon, basil, or mint
Chowder - Clam 'Hatteras (Canned)

- Heat olive oil in soup pot
- 1 Lrg Onion - Chopped
- 4 Garlic cloves - Minced
- 1 Celery heart - Chopped including leaves
- 20 Baby carrots - sliced thin
- 2 Med. Potatoes - cubed
- 4 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 7 Slices Bacon - cooked & crumbled
- 32 oz. Vegetable broth
- (2) 8 oz. bottles of clam juice
- (4) cans 6.5 oz. chopped clams
- 1 Tbsp oregano
- freshly ground pepper
Broccoli - StirFry 'Rice

1.) In a saucepan, bring 3 cups H2O to a boil
- 1-1/2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
- 1 tbsp vegetable Oil
- 16 oz. broccoli florets, chopped
- 3 Green Onions, chopped
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp ground Black Pepper
