Chocolate Pecan Pie with Kahlua Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
- Chocolate Pecan Pie with Kahlua
- 1 recipe Pastry for Single-Crust Pie (see recipe below)
- 3/4 cup semisweet chocolate pieces
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup light-color corn syrup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
- Coffee Whipped Cream (see recipe below) (optional)
- 1/3 cup semisweet chocolate pieces, melted
- Pecan halves, toasted
- Pastry for Single-crust Pie
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 4 - 5 tablespoons cold water
- Coffee Whipped Cream
- 2/3 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur

Allow egg whites to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes
- 4 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon mint extract
- 7 drops green food coloring
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil

- 2 pounds beef tips, cut into cubes
- 1 1/2 cups onion, diced
- 1 cup fresh crimini mushrooms
- 1 cup button mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 tablespoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Rice, noodles, potatoes, or bread (to serve under the beef)

Preheat oven to 400°F. Gently mix apples, raisins, sugar, and cinnamon in a medium bowl; set aside
- 3 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup raisins
