Carrot Salad-German (Karottensalat)

The orange juice makes this a sweeter salad that makes a nice contrast to other salads
- 2 lbs fresh carrots, peeled and grated
- 1 bunch fresh dill, finely chopped
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Apple-Cranberry Slaw

Cranberries, apples and cabbage bring the colors and flavors of fall to any table in this crunchy coleslaw
- 1/3 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
- 2 Tbsp. maple-flavored or pancake syrup
- 1 pkg. (14 oz.) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup chopped red onions

- For the flour blend:
- 4 cups (480 grams) garbanzo???fava bean flour
- 4 cups (452 grams) sorghum flour
- 2 cups (324 grams) potato starch
- 1 1/3 cups (156 grams) tapioca starch
- For the crumble:
- 1 1/2 cups quinoa flakes
- 1 cup Basic Flour Blend
- 1/4 cup palm sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/3 cup canola oil

Breadsticks (with Quinoa Flour)

This is a great way to take the bitter taste out of quinoa flour
- 2 1/2 cups bread flour mix (see below)
- 1/2 cup chickpea flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1 tablespoon coconut palm sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder (Or Ener-G Egg Replacer)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (about 110 degrees)
- 2 tablespoons organic canola oil
- 2 tablespoons agave nectar or liquid sweetener of choic
- 1 teaspoon cider vinegar
- 3 tablespoons almond milk, or milk of choice
- Toppings: sesame seeds, coarse salt, poppy seeds, dehydrated garlic
- All Purpose Gluten Free Bread Flour Mix: 1 1/4 cups brown rice flour
- 1 cup sorghum flour 3/4 cup quinoa flour (toasted),
Sausage Quiche

Preheat oven to 350°F. Coat a 9-inch deep-dish glass pie pan with cooking spray
- Canola oil cooking spray
- 1 pound sweet Italian turkey sausage links, removed from casings
- 1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 4 cups baby spinach
- 4 eggs
- 2 egg whites
- 1/2 cup 1% milk
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 6 sheets phyllo dough, defrosted according to package directions
- 1/4 cup plain dry breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup shredded gruyere cheese
Buttermilk Pancakes-Classic

- 3 Tbs. unsalted butter; more for serving
- 9 oz. (2 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for the griddle
- Pure maple syrup for serving
Tomato-Cheddar Soup

In large pot, heat oil over medium heat
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup chopped yellow onion (about 1 medium)
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 tablespoons King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 (28-ounce) can Italian plum tomatoes
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup half-and-half or milk
- 3 sprigs fresh thyme or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- 8 ounces Cabot Sharp Cheddar, Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar or Cabot White Oak Cheddar, grated (about 2 cups), plus extra for garnish*
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
- Garlic croutons (optional)
Amish Cinnamon Buns

In a large mixer place the warm water, sugar, oil, potatoes, egg and salt, mix well

- 3 tablespoons powdered milk
- 3 cups all-purpose flour (first addition)
- 2 1/2-3 cups all-purpose flour (second addition)
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1 cup brown sugar
- Frosting
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 cup confectioners powdered sugar
- 1 dash salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350° F. In the bowl of your mixer cream butter and sugar until smooth
- Sugar Cookie Base:
- 1 Cup butter, softened
- 1 Cup granulated white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- Filling:
- Cream Cheese
- Jam of choice
