Spiced Rum Sauce

Spiced rum is a sweetened version of the popular spirit flavored with such spices as vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- 1 cup (packed) golden brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons spiced rum or dark rum
- 2 tbls grand manier
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions To make the salad:
- Salad
- 1 ⁄2 cup pistachio nut, shelled and finely ground
- 3 ⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1 ⁄2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground (plus a pinch)

- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 ⁄2 cup sweet white onion, diced

My friend named this recipe because she says she opens her crisper and throws in whatever she finds
- 1 can corn
- 1 can black beans
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 anaheim pepper, chopped
- 1/2 red onion, chopped
- several minced garlic
- 2 cans el pato
- bunch cilantro, chopped
- 2 chopped avocados
- juice from two limes
- 1 Tbls. cumin

Seriously! I can't hardly make enough for my family
- 1 bunch cilantro, stems and leaves
- 8-10 basil leaves
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 galic cloves
- 1/4 cup white wine vinegar
- juice of 1 lime
- 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1-1/2 tsp honey
- 1 seeded jalapeno, optional (or not seeded if you want a kick)

Simmer orange juice til half
- Orange Sesame Dressing
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon hot red pepper sauce (optional)
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 2 teaspoons grated fresh ginger
Shrimp Roll Sandwiches

1. Stir together the chopped shrimp and mayonnaise in a large bowl
- 1 1/2 lb. cooked, peeled and deveined large shrimp, chopped
- 4 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped red onion
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped celery
- 1 tbsp. finely chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh tarragon
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 tbsp. chopped chives
- 1 tbsp. Old Bay seasoning
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper

- 3 large green peppers, chopped
