1. Place apples in slow cooker, making sure each is standing upright 2

Puchero

puchero is a mixed pot of meats, vegetables, and sometimes fruit that is made in Spain and throughout Latin America
- COOKER: Large round or oval. or 2 medium
- SETTINGS AND COOK TIMES: HIGH for 1 hour. then LOW for 6 to 7 hours
- 2 large onions, quartered
- 3 large carrots, cut in half crosswise
- 4 medium-size boiling potatoes
- 2 chicken thighs, skin removed
- 3 pounds veal shanks
- 1 spicy smoked sausage (about 4 ounces). such as Polish or spicy turkey. cut in half crosswise
- 1/4 head cabbage (about 1/2 pound), left in one piece
- 2 to 3 large ribs celery, cut into large chunks
- 1 leek. cut in half lengthwise
- 1 ear corn, shucked and cut in half crosswise
- 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and cut in half
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 2 to 3 sprigs fresh thyme

Broccoli Quiche with Mashed Potato Crust

- 2 large potatoes, peeled
- 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli
- 1 T flour
- 1/3 c half & half (opt)
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 to 1.5 cups shredded Cheddar or swiss cheese
- 5 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 clove minced garlic
Texas Stew- Crock Pot

- 15oz can of ranch beans
- 1 can corn
- 1 can diced tomatoes-plain or spicy
- 1 onion
- 1 pepper
- 1 T oil

GF Cookie Dough Bites

Directions: Preheat your oven to 350°F / 175°C
- Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups canned* chickpeas, well-rinsed and patted dry with a paper towel
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons (165 grams) natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup (80 grams) honey (agave would be amazing too!)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder**
- a pinch of salt if your peanut butter doesn’t have salt in it
- 1/2 cup (90 grams) chocolate chips
- My can was a 400 gram can, 240 grams without the water, and I used all but a few tablespoons
- If you need grain-free baking powder, you can use 1 part cream of tartar + 1 part baking soda + 2 parts arrowroot.

- 1 * 1 cup uncooked oatmeal or fine dry breadcrumbs
- SAUCE:
- 1 * 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 * 1 large bell pepper
- 3 * 3 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 3 * 3 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 4 * 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 * 3 Tbl vegetable oil
- 1 * 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

This is a wonderful way to serve venison and enjoy its remarkable flavor
- GARNISHES:
- 3 to 4 pounds venison stew meat, trimmed of fat, tenderized by pounding, and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 cup pitted dates
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- 2 cups Madeira or dry red wine
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup olive oil 6 cloves garlic. chopped

- 4 black peppercorns, crushed
- 1 bay leaf
