Grilled Jalapeño and Lime Shrimp Skewers

To make it easier to flip your shrimp, use 14-inch flat metal skewers
- Marinade:
- 1 t0 2 jalapeño chiles, seeded and chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- Zest of 1 lime, plus 5 tablespoons juice (from 3 limes)
- 6 cloves garlic, minced (1 to 2 tablespoons)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Shrimp:
- 1 1/2 pounds extra-large shrimp (21 to 25 per pound), peeled and deveined
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar

- Dressing:
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 TB. SESAME SEEDS
- 1 tsp. dry PARSLEY FLAKES (1 TB. fresh parsley, chopped)
- 1-2 tsp. COUNTRY FRENCH VINAIGRETTE or ITALIAN VINEGAR & OIL (with salt), or MURAL OF FLAVOR (without salt) optional
- 1/3 Cup olive oil
- 1/3 Cup red wine vinegar
- 1/3 Cup sugar
- Salad:
- 8-10 Cups baby spinach
- 3-4 green onions, ends removed, sliced
- 1 Cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 Cup toasted, slivered almonds (place in preheated 350° oven for 10-15 minutes, until golden, stirring a few times)
- 1/2 Cup dried cherries or dried cranberries

Spaghetti With Beef Mushroom Sauce

Step 1 Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions
- 1 pound dry spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound button mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup (4 ounces) grated Parmesan
- 1/2 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves, roughly chopped

- Shortbread:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter, chilled and sliced into pieces(2 sticks)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Apple Filling:
- 6 cups sliced apples (about 7 medium)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2-3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmed
- Crumb Topping:
- 1 cup oats (old fashioneed or quick cook)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup softend butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
Perfect Pulled Pork
