  • Zest of 1 lime, plus 5 tablespoons juice (from 3 limes)
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced (1 to 2 tablespoons)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Shrimp:
  • 1 1/2 pounds extra-large shrimp (21 to 25 per pound), peeled and deveined

  • 1/2 Cup toasted, slivered almonds (place in preheated 350° oven for 10-15 minutes, until golden, stirring a few times)
