Aunt Isabelle's Chocolate Cake

- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus more for dusting the pan(see note)
- 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
- 1/2 cup dark rum
- 1 cup unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
