  • 1/2 Cup butter-flavored shortening (or regular shortening or butter)
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1/2 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TB. water
  • 1 tsp. PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1 Cup quick-cooking oats (old-fashioned oats work, too)
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 Cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 Cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 Cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 Cup toffee bits (sold by the chocolate chips)
