Best Ever Slow Cooker Italian Beef

Place beef chuck roast into slow cooker and scatter onion quarters around the meat
- 3 lb. beef chuck roast
- 1 onion, quartered
- 10.5 oz. beef broth, canned
- 1 oz. au jus, dry mix packet
- .7 oz. dressing mix, dry Italian salad dressing mix (such as Good Seasons®)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

- 2 (5 to 6oz) chicken cutlets
- 2 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp finely chopped jalapeno

- Batter:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups buttermilk or 2 cups milk plus 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice

- 2 teaspoons baking soda

- 2/3 cups sugar

- ~1 cup caramelized onions [or the entire homemade recipe here]

- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper

- 1 pound ground sirloin

preheat the oven to 375. to make the crumble topping, mix 1 3/4 cup flour, sugar and salt in a medium bowl
- 1 3/4 cups plus 3 tbsp. all purpose flour, divided
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- pinch of kosher salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold, cut into small pieces
- 4 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1 cup blueberries
